The thermal spotmeter can trigger events based on the measured temperature. The measurement area covers the four pixels at the center of the image.
This feature is only available, if a suitable thermal image sensor has been attached and is running properly.
The temperature of objects in the image as determined by the thermal sensors is influenced mostly by the following factors:
Surface properties and object color
Distance from the sensor to the objects
Properties of the atmosphere between the sensor and the objects
This means that the sensor can deliver different temperature values depending on the distance to the object and the current
scene. In order to define events that are based on temperature trigger values, you first need to determine the current temperature
values measured in the scene. To do so, you can use the variables $(SEN.TSR.CELSIUS) and $(SEN.TSR.FAHRENHEIT) for the right sensor or $(SEN.TSL.CELSIUS) and $(SEN.TSL.FAHRENHEIT) for the left sensor. The determined values can then be used to set the trigger value defined below.
In order to exactly point the sensor to the object you want to measure, the camera can display crosshairs in the live image. The circle at the center of the crosshairs shows the four pixels that are used for measuring.
Allows using a temperature level (single trigger value) or a temperature range (two trigger values).
Thermal Level: Triggers an event if the temperature is higher or lower than the trigger value.
Thermal Range: Triggers an event if the temperature is within our outside of the defined temperature range.
Show the temperatures either in degrees Centigrade (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
Enter the temperature value that is used to trigger an event when it exceeds or when it drops below the value (depending on the setting of the Comparison parameter).
Select between triggering the event when it exceeds or drops below the specified trigger value on the one hand or when it reaches or leaves the specified temperature range.
Higher than: (only when using Thermal Level alarm type) triggers an event if the temperature in the measurement area is higher than the trigger value.
Lower than: (only when using Thermal Level alarm type) triggers an event if the temperature in the measurement area is lower than the trigger value.
Outside of range: (only when using Thermal Range alarm type) triggers an event if the temperature in the measurement area is outside of the temperature range.
Within range: (only when using Thermal Range alarm type) triggers an event if the temperature in the measurement area is within the temperature range.
Define how often the event is to be triggered:
First: The event is triggered only once, i.e., when the condition is first detected.
Every: The event is triggered every time as long as the condition is true.
Haga clic en el botón Establecer para activar su configuración y guardarla hasta el próximo reinicio de la cámara.
Haga clic en el botón Fábrica para cargar todos los ajustes de fábrica para este cuadro de diálogo (puede que no todos los cuadros de diálogo tengan este botón).
Haga clic en el botón Restaurar para deshacer los cambios más recientes que no se han almacenado en la cámara de forma permanente.
Haga clic en el botón Cerrar para cerrar los cuadros de diálogo. Mientras se cierra el cuadro diálogo, el sistema comprueba la configuración completa en busca de cambios. Si se detectan cambios, el sistema le preguntará si desea almacenar toda la configuración permanentemente.
